Artist Information

All around us

‘All around us’ is a 6-piece collaboration combining alternative pop-rock with electronic samples and melancholy lyrics.

Classic songwriting on guitars, keys and vocals, mashed-up with savvy beats and samples.

‘All around us’ started rehearsing, tweaking and recording early 2015. You can check out the first demo results on this page.

A fine blend of musical outlooks on life, influenced by Beck, Air, Boards of Canada, Eels and Daniel Johnston.

Shun Club

What do you do when your band members become more succesfull than your band? Members went to Arno, Broken Glass Heroes, Dez Mona, And They Spoke In Anthems and Dans Dans. So Johan Verckist started on his own.

Thanks to Pascal Deweze and Geoffrey Burton (Daan) fresh air came in the group and new songs were created. Some of them are on the debut album 'Avalance'

Together with Hans De Prins (Broken Glass Heroes, Expats), Tijl Piryns (You Raskal You), Lennart Janssen (Statue) and Dries Debie Shun Club makes beautiful, melancholic and catchy songs.

Pieter Van Dessel (Marble Sounds) is a big fan.

The Strips

The Strips began their rock n' roll career in Eau Claire, Wisconsin in 2013 where they came together due to their love of music and incredibly cold winters, which allowed them to spend hours fine tuning their sound. Starting out as a three piece band which included Trey Sharpe on rhythm guitar and vocals, Steven Greenfield on lead guitar, and John "The Panda" Nichols on the drums. In the summer of 2014, The Strips became a four piece with the addition of William Weston the multi-instrumentalist. Taking inspiration from rock legends such as Led Zeppelin, Kings of Leon, The Strokes, The Pixies, and The Black Keys, The Strips performed classic "Basement Shows" for their friends and students of the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire. The Strips released their first EP "Welcome to Our Basement" in the fall of 2014 where you can hear their unique sound. The summer of 2015 lead to the great migration to Minneapolis, Minnesota where The Strips have continued to gather a following and now headline at notable venues throughout "The Cities" as they prepare to release their first album.
