EMBRZ, the brainchild of 24 year old Dublin-born Jack Casey, first began writing music at 15, playing guitar in a band with school friends. With an eclectic interest in music, it was an early deadmau5 track which introduced Jack to the world of electronic music. Inspired by this discovery and other artists alike, the self-taught musician began producing out of his college bedroom, posting tracks on Soundcloud simply to share with friends. Combining elements of dance with downtempo music, Casey developed a signature style that underpins the unmistakable emotionally charged EMBRZ sound. Soon those same friends on Soundcloud began sharing this new sound and before long the blogs aficionados and Youtube influencers were fans as well.
Once his first official remix of Ellie Goulding’s 'How long will I Love You' crossed the million play mark, as well as his remix for The 1975’s ‘Settle Down’, EMBRZ was here to stay. Since then a string of Hype Machine number 1’s have grown his fan base both with casual fans and tastemakers alike. He recently released his first original track 'Silent' showcasing his talents in both songwriting and production (he both wrote the vocal and produced the track). Following the release of ‘Silent’ came the single ‘Lights’ featuring Pennybirdrabbit whose previous collaborations include Skrillex, Porter Robinson, and Dillon Francis.
EMBRZ closed out 2015 by delivering the sentimental and beautiful single ‘Home’ ft. Eleni Drake, which placed in the top 5 on Hype Machine.
In May 2016 EMBRZ was tapped by global superstar Carly Rae Jepsen to lend his considerable remixing skills to her ‘Run Away With Me’ official remix package.
EMBRZ new single ‘Breathe’ is out on now via MFN Music/Ultra.
With several more releases, remixes, and performances planned through the rest of the year, it’s exciting to see what’s next for the young Irish producer.

MOORYC. Power. Soft. And exceptionally gifted poignancy.
In the purity of calm, in the retreat from all chaos, from everything that stumbles uncontrolled over a soul, Maurycy Zimmermann plants his seeds. As Mooryc grows his tracks which are in the dark and unbelievable, they allow a clear structure to the day. His pieces are relentlessly finelimbed, sharply thought-through and filled with a tenderly soft melodic that reconciles all. Mooryc, the project of the Poznan musician Maurycy Zimmermann is like a wing flap full of tone lines, thick rhythms and brings the depths to the light.
In his way of writing tracks the image is of completely varying musical influences. Maurycy has played piano since he was seven and later discovered guitar, percussion, bass, violin, saxophone, and synthesizer. His parents are music enthusiasts in every fiber and impressed upon him jazz, vinyl and an academic musicality. Maurycy packed his love for Peter Gabriel, Paul Simon, Bach, Händel, Arvo Part and Pawel Mykietyn, up to Aphex Twin, Boards of Canada and Depeche Mode into his burning passion for electronic music. From the top he displayed later an academic analytic understanding of a cello builder and philosophy. The mix is brilliant. The music is sharpened.
'....super-smart and endearingly pieced together from a breathtaking blend of whisper-like vocals and euphoric electronics .' - NME
'If this track is anything to go by, Phoria's upcoming EP, Display, is set to be one of the defining releases of the year.' - Indie Shuffle
'Even as “Emanate” makes its ascent into a huge, warm wall of synth melody, this remains a deeply felt and achingly human composition.' - The Line Of Best Fit
'If a conventional pop song was disassembled to its absolute, minute parts, jumbled up and given a new space, it might sound like this.' - Fake DIY
Brighton five piece alternative, electronic band Phoria return this spring with their second official EP release. The ‘Display’ EP is due for release via X Novo Records in June.
